12-LITERATURE: Mon 27-April

  • Have a look at sparknotes.com and/or shmoop.com to find out some extra info about the text, which will help you to read and understand it.
  • Finish reading ‘Agamemnon’ and begin taking notes, which will set you up for success in this unit
  • Complete T2W3 pre-readings

Let’s all make a flying start to this AOS make sure that you’ve done everything you can to close out Unit 3 with some success.

11-LANGUAGE: Mon 27-April

11-LANGUAGE: Fri 24-Apr

Hey everyone,

you have you metalanguage test on Monday so revision must be a priority. If you are absent you will need a medical cert.

  • Work on answering questions from pre-readings
  • set up a detailed glossary

Please remember to arrive at least ten minutes early and print out your glossary for use in the test. (if your glossary is not your own work you will not be able to use it during the test.)

12-LITERATURE: Fri 24-Apr

Hi everyone,

The main focus for this weekend is your revision, you have a SAC on Monday:

  • Complete task ‘W9- compare and contrast’
  • Complete task ‘W8- Evidence table’
  • Set up a help sheet (even if you can’t use it)
  • Practice writing and ask for feedback

You should also be:

  • Reading ‘Agamemnon’

  • Ensure you have read the novel and watched the film
  • Complete ‘W9- comparing and contrasting’ task
  • Complete ‘W1- Narrative point of view’ task
  • Start reading ‘Agamemnon’

It is very important that we start the term well by making sure that you’re up to date with everything to make sure that you are prepared for our second SAC on Monday 27th April.

Hi everyone,

the PREP for this week, due on Friday, is as follows;

  • Complete T2week 1 pre-reading
  • Work on glossary (the test isn’t far away…)
  • Complete any unfinished tasks (see holiday PREP post and task from today)

It’s very important that we start this term well by making sure that you’re on top of everything and ready for the ‘AOS 1 metalanguage test’, which will happen in the next couple of weeks.
